Thigh lift

A thigh lift is a surgical procedure which aims to improve the shape and tightness of the leg, and is the solution to improve the appearance of loose skin on the thighs due to ageing or following a large weight loss.
This operation removes excess skin from the inner thigh and is carried out under general anaesthesia. It combines a liposuction and removal of surplus skin. After the operation the patient must wear a leg support garment to help reduce swelling, and must avoid any physical activity for at least a month.
